ABOUT OUR TEAM
DANIEL NOBLES
Born and raised in Greenville, NC, Daniel is a graduate of Farmville Central High School. During his high school years, he earned First Team All-conference honors (2B) and secured a spot on the All-County Team.
Following his graduation, Daniel pursued higher education at Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) in Elizabeth City, NC. He attended the university on an academic scholarship and joined the baseball team as a preferred walk-on. After the fall season, Daniel was named the starting Right Fielder for the Vikings. In his first 8 games, he boasted a batting average of .276, an On-Base Percentage of .417, and a slugging percentage of .448 before being sidelined due to injury. Unfortunately, he could only play one additional game during his freshman year.
Throughout his sophomore season, Daniel grappled with injuries that limited his time on the field. Post his sophomore year, he received the news that the baseball program at ECSU had been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. Daniel concluded his baseball career at ECSU with a batting average of .255, an OBP of .449, and a slugging percentage of .353.
Transitioning from baseball, Daniel joined the golf team at ECSU and earned a letter. His diverse background in both baseball and golf showcases his athletic versatility.
Daniel now brings a wealth of coaching experience to Agon Premier. Having worked under James Molinari at Carolina Elite, coached under Ronnie Morales at West Raleigh Blue, and served as the head coach for various teams at The Performance Academy, he offers a broad spectrum of coaching knowledge to our program.
DARIUS NOBLES
Born and raised in Greenville, NC, and graduate of J.H. Rose High School. Darius started his college baseball playing career at Louisburg College in Louisburg, NC. As a freshman, hit .264 with four homers and 14 RBIs for a 31-22 Hurricane squad. As a sophomore, batted .292 with five doubles, eight home runs, and 30 RBIs. Served as team captain and recorded a .566 slugging percentage and .400 on-base percentage, while fielding at a .980 clip over 203 chances.
After graduating from Louisburg College, Darius transferred to Francis Marion University. Darius had put together an amazing final season in which he batted .402, 70 Hits, 14 homers, a slugging percentage of .736 (Program Best), and an on-base percentage of .518. Darius received a variety of awards for his final season which can be shown below. Darius completed his baseball career and graduated from Francis Marion University with a batting average of .363, 117 hits, 20 homers, a slugging percentage of .630, and an on-base percentage of .468. We are excited to have Darius as a member of our team.

PHILLIP BOYKIN
Born and raised in Greenville, NC, Phillip is a proud graduate of North Pitt High School. During his high school years, he distinguished himself as a four-year varsity starter, earning the prestigious Silver Slugger Award consistently from his freshman to junior seasons. Phillip's outstanding performance led to his recognition as an all-conference and all-state selection in his junior year.
Post-graduation, Phillip pursued his academic and athletic journey at Louisburg College. In his freshman year in 2019, he made a significant impact, boasting a batting average of .289. Notably, he showcased his versatility with 12 stolen bases, hitting a region-best 11 home runs, and driving in an impressive 37 runs. Unfortunately, Phillip's time at Louisburg was unexpectedly cut short due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Undeterred by the challenges, Phillip continued his baseball journey at Norfolk State University as an Outfielder. In his tenure, he started in 24 out of 28 appearances, showcasing his prowess with 15 hits, including 3 doubles and 1 triple. Phillip's power at the plate was evident, scoring 11 home runs and contributing six RBIs, concluding the season with a batting average of .221.
Phillip's wealth of knowledge and experience make him a valuable addition to our program, and we are thrilled to welcome him as a vital part of our organization.
MATT PERKINS
Born and raised in Henderson, NC, and a graduate of Southern Vance High School, Matt Perkins started his baseball career at Louisburg College in Louisburg, NC. Matt walked on to the team and earned his place in the pitching rotation, starting his sophomore season with the Hurricanes. After his sophomore season at Louisburg, Matt had the opportunity to play Division 1 Baseball at Coppin State University. He finished his first season at Coppin State with opponents’ batting .140 against him.
In his senior season at Coppin State, he played a crucial role in leading the Eagles to a 2022 MEAC Championship, their first since 1995. This victory secured the Eagles' spot in the NCAA Tournament, where Matt contributed as a relief pitcher against #8 East Carolina University. Matt concluded his career with 25 strikeouts and a .500 Win percentage.
We are thrilled to welcome Matt on board as our Pitching Development Coordinator, where he will bring his extensive knowledge of the game to contribute to our team's success.
DAVID MARTINEZ
Born and raised in Raleigh, NC, David's early passion for STEM led him to graduate from Wake STEM Early College High School, with plans to pursue a degree in Computer Engineering at NC State. However, his creative instincts pulled him in a different direction, leading him to pivot from engineering to video production.
After graduation, David joined Best Buy as a sales consultant in the Digital Imaging department, where he honed his expertise in cameras and digital tools, advising customers on how to bring their content creation visions to life. His love for content creation began in high school when he launched a gaming YouTube channel for fun, later expanding his skills by working on his local church’s social media team.
Driven by his passion, David recently founded Nezvid, a video production company dedicated to making high-quality content accessible to businesses in the Triangle area. Whether it’s shooting dynamic footage of cars at local meets or crafting captivating sports videos, David’s goal is to elevate every story he tells through the lens. With Nezvid, he’s committed to turning creative ideas into polished, professional content that resonates with audiences.
